Farmington Daily Times Please run in the Thursday, March 10, 2011 editions FAYE PATTERSON CRAWFORD Faye Crawford, 97 passed from this life Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Farmington. She was born July 14, 1913, in Cedaridge, CO to Jesse and Haydee Patterson. Faye was an exemplary homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. An avid rock hound, she was a charter member in the local Gem and Mineral Club. She loved hiking in the hills and breathing in the beauty around her. She worked in her back yard for 59 plus years to create more beauty. Faye’s loving, gentle, giving, pure heart has been a shining example to all who knew her of what the Christian life should be. She was never judgmental or angry and always busy. She spoke gently and softly and never an unkind word to say to anyone. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Haydee Patterson; husband, Charles M. Crawford; sons, Ned and Larry Crawford. She is survived by her children, Tom (Dolcie) Crawford; Carolyn Wilburn, Pam Isbell and Linda Grey; sisters, Betty Smith, Mary Sue Smith, Patricia Patterson; Four grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and many other extended family members. Visitation for Mrs. Crawford will be from 6:00 " 8:00 pm on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington, 404 W. Arrington. Funeral Services for Ms. Crawford will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Aztec Baptist Church with Pastor Don Stackpole officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Bloomfield Community Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Mike Wilburn, Brad Wilburn, Jason Crawford, Nathan Crawford, Chuck Blackman and Jason Grimes. A reception will follow the funeral service and interment at Aztec Baptist Church at 12:00 noon.
