Felipe Conrado "Phillip" Lopez Jr.

Felipe Conrado "Phillip" Lopez Jr. 57, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Hagerman, NM. He was born in Socorro, NM on June 5, 1957 to Conrado Felipe Sr. and Ruth (Gonzales) Lopez. Phillip was a resident of Roswell, NM and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. Phillip enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of the American Legion Riders. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Phillip is survived by his children, Robert Mata; Eloisa Mata Romero; Alyssa Lopez; Nicole Lopez; and Jayden Lopez Montoya; his grandchildren, Taylei Rae and Tatum Ariel Romero; his sisters, Kathy McCartney; and Linda Padilla; his brothers, Frankie; Ernie; and Ricky Lopez; niece, Tasha Padilla; nephew, Timothy Padilla; his American Legion Riders; and many other loving family members and friends. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro, with Father Flavio Santillanes officiating.
