Felipe Garcia

Garcia, Felipe Age 89, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 50 years, passed away surrounded by all his family and grandchildren on Friday, June 6, 2014. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on October 24, 1924, to Luis and Confilina Garcia. Felipe was a very loving father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly and forever be in our hearts. Felipe is survived by his wife, Ruby Garcia; children, Esther Garcia-Vargas, Julian Vargas, Leo Martinez, Theresa Martinez, Richard D. Lucero, Briselda Lucero, Ernest Lucero and Felipe Lucero; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and niece Alice Garcia. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 3424-4th Street. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Therese Little Flower. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
