Felix Trujillo

Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 31, 2012. He was born in Valverde, New Mexico on July 19, 1917 to Luciano Trujillo and Maria Lena Cordova. Felix was preceded in death by his beloved son Rudy Trujillo, an infant daughter Jennie, his parents, three brothers; John J. Trujillo, Joe Trujillo, and Junior Cordova, sister; Lydia Mathews and sisters-in-law Peggie Garcia, Emma Lopez and Josie Baca. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Trujillo of 74 years, grandson; Michael Trujillo, granddaughters; Dianna Nafus and husband Leon, Sara Trujillo, four great-granddaughters; Brianna, Jordan, Rainy, Skylar and two great-grandsons; Jayden and Dylan, Brother, Arturo Cordova and wife Linda, sister in laws; Precilla Whiting, Angie Reynolds, Maria Moad and Delia Trujillo, many nieces and nephews and friends. Felix was a veteran of World War II having served in the South Pacific for three years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico. He retired from the Army Corp of Engineers 1977 after serving 33 years as a Hydraulic Engineer. Felix also worked for the United States Geological Survey. He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church since 1949. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leon Nafus, Don Schade, Jamie Monje, Juan Cordova, Jaden Johnson, and Angelo Baylon. Honorary pallbearers are Arturo Cordova and Michael Trujillo. Daniels Family Funeral Services
