Fern Jeanette Garcia, 96, passed away on January 10, 2016. She was born April 7, 1919, Audubon, MN to Oscar and Fannie Froysland. Fern attended nursing school in Fargo, ND, was an RN for over 40 years, had a beautiful heart and loved helping people. She is survived by her oldest son Shane Garcia; 6 granddaughters; 7 grandsons; 16 great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Tammy Hong-Garcia. She is preceded in death by husband, Dick Garcia; son, Jayce Garcia; 2 great grandchildren Taliya and Adam; brother, Leroy Froysland. Fern is also survived by her sister, Joyce Wilson and brother, Roger Froysland. Services will be held at Calvary Chapel 4001 Osuna Rd NE Albuquerque, NM at 1:00 pm followed by the scattering of her ashes in the Rose Garden at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:00 pm on Thursday January 21, 2016.
