FIDEL GEORGE MONTOYA, 83, WENT HOME TO BE WITH OUR LORD AND SAVIOR ON TUESDAY, MAY 9, 2023

Fidel was born and raised in Sandoval County, New Mexico. He was a member of Church of the Incarnation.  He was a Navy Veteran. He was a graduate of UNM with a Business Degree and from the University of Utah with his MBA. In addition to his Navy career, Fidel retired from the State of New Mexico after 30 years of service.  He was dedicated to his family, enjoyed the outdoors through hunting, camping, and fishing, and embraced life through a continuous thirst for knowledge and never-ending hard work as a business owner.

Fidel is survived by his loving wife Barbara Evangeline Montoya of 58 years; four children, Linda Roseborough (Don), Fidel D. Montoya, Leslie Campbell (Peter). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Erin Martinez, Michael Roseborough, Adam Martinez, and Sean Roseborough.

Preceded in death by his son George Miguel Montoya.

Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, 10:30 AM, May 19, 2023, Church of The Incarnation Catholic Church, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87144.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.  A reception will be held at The Church of the Incarnation banquet hall following Mass.
