Filomena (Fanny) Viverito

Filomena (Fanny) Viverito, age 96, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.  She was born in New York, NY on October 20, 1921 to Salvatore and Rosina Franciosa, growing up in a large family with 5 brothers and 2 sisters.  She moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 1972.   

She enjoyed her volunteer work with the Felician Sisters Ladies Auxillary, baking pies and cookies for the holidays, and tending to her tomato and vegetable garden each year.  Fanny was devoted to her family and strong in her faith.  She was very understanding and loving, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas, her brothers Salvatore, Saverio (Sam), Ricky, Mauro, and her sister Connie.  She is survived by her sister Felice (Sue), her brother Frank, her children, Carol, Angelo and Thomas, and many, many nieces and nephews.   

Visitation will be Monday, April 23, 1 pm to 2 pm, and 6 pm to 8 pm.

 A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on April 24, 2018, 10:30 a.m.  at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM.  Interment will take place following the Mass.
