Florence Flo"" Catena

CATENA- Florence “Flo” Catena, 90, passed away on April 12, 2011 at Kaseman Hospice in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her brother, Robert J. Catena and wife, Jean; nieces Lucia Stamp, of Sawfell, MN, Melissa Damato of Chats-worth, CA; nephew, Robert Catena Jr. of Wheaton, IL as well as many dear friends. She was born in Chicago in January 23, 1921. Flo worked at Kraft Foods Inc. in Chicago, retiring in 1982. She worked on various assignments within the Employee’s Credit Union and then as Supervisor in the Employee’s Benefit Department. In 1983, she moved to Albuquerque and became an avid member of Puerto Del Sol and Los Altos Golf courses and the Rio Grande Jazz Society. She loved golf and jazz, especially Dixieland Jazz “Let’s Party”! Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday April 20, 11:30 am at Monte Vista Christian Church chapel at 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, Albuquerque 268-3365.
