Martin, Florence "Flo" Dawn
Age 28, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home in San Acacia, NM. She was born in Craig, CO on July 16, 1986, to Lawrence and Darice Scripter Martin. Flo grew up and graduated high school in Craig and was the youngest of four children. She was very active in rodeos during her school years and she participated in barrel racing, pole bending, and flags. Flo attended college in Nebraska where she majored in Equine Management. She was involved in 4-H for 10 years during which time she enjoyed showing horses and dogs. Flo moved to San Acacia in 2006 where she raised horses and goats. In 2009 she served as the Socorro County Fair Queen. Flo will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Scripter, Sr.; brother, Francis Martin; and uncle, Robert  Scripter , Jr.. Florence is survived by her parents; her brothers, Earl Martin and wife, Kelly, and Forrest Martin; paternal grandparents, Earl and LaVeta Martin; maternal grandmother, Genevieve Scripter; aunts and uncles, Diane and Richard Kiolbasa,  Edith and Larry Davis, John and Esther Clark. Memorial Services for Flo will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the home of Roy Green, 59 NW Frontage Rd, San Acacia, NM. Flo's care has been entrusted to
