Florida de Peralta Strange

Florie de Peralta Strange, age 60, passed away early morning, September 6, 2021. Florie was born in San Jose, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Florie spent 38 years at Intel and was the owner and instructor of ATA Karate for over 20 years. Florie spent her free time cooking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. Florie, was always the life of the party and knew how to have a good time. She also enjoyed hosting her weekly Mahjong games with close friends.

Florie is survived by her husband of nearly 23 years, Michael; son, AJ and wife Celeste of Rio Rancho; daughter Leanna and Josh of Idaho. She cherished her grandsons, Finn, Jackson, and Jameson. Florie leaves behind her beloved sisters Priscilla and husband Gilbert, sister Maritess and husband Noel, sister Marijune and husband Ben, and treasured brother, Joseph and wife Andrea.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Nemesia de Peralta.

Services will begin Wednesday, September 15, 2021 with a viewing from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and a Rosary at  6:00 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Second Viewing will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Rosary at 6:00 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Friday, September 17, 2021, Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 am with Mass following at 10:30 am, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Burial to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
