Florinda Carter

Carter, Florinda S. Loving grandmother; great grandmother; sister and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born in Belen, NM to Climaco and Trinidad Sanchez. Florinda adored her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed painting and expressed her faith in God. She is preceded in death by her husband David Carter and son Daniel R. Carter Sr. Florinda is survived by three grandchildren Daniel Carter, David Carter and Brian Carter; eight great grandchildren Rebecca, Manuel, Alejandro, David Scott, Uriah, Miranda, Serena and Azure; sister Dolores Sanchez and numerous relatives and friends. Florinda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Garcia Chapel of Angels from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a reciting of the Rosary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 17, 2013 at San Felipe Church 2005 N Plaza St. NW, at 9:00 am; Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
