Frances Benavidez

Benavidez, Frances  
Age 75, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Socorro, NM on May 11, 1939, to Antonio and Virginia Baca Jaramillo. Frances was a person of strong faith and devotion to her family. She raised her eight children as a single parent and worked full time as a housekeeper.  She was employed at the Golden Manor Motel for close to 20 years. Frances enjoyed cooking and baking and her trips to the casino.  Frances will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Christopher Benavidez, grandchildren, Joseph McDaniel,  Antoinette Benavidez, Matthew McDaniel, and Anthony Benavidez, Jr.; sister, Maryann Romero; brother, Benny Jaramillo. Frances is survived by children, Betty McDaniel, Grace Guerrero and husband, Felix, Alex  Benavidez and wife, Rose,  Albert Benavidez and wife Robin, Paul Benavidez and companion, Esther Jaramillo, Anthony Benavidez and wife, Marie, and Gina Lopez; brother, Antonio Jaramillo, Jr.; sisters, Dolores Lopez, Mary Baca and husband, Alex, Rose Sanchez and husband, Junior, and Barbara Gonzales and husband, Ted; 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Rosary to be recited on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 9:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Communion Service to follow at 9:30 am. Deacon Nick Keller officiating.  Burial will take place at Socorro Cemetery  following service. Pallbearers will be Davy McDaniel Jr., Kevin McDaniel, Felix Guerrero Jr., Richard Guerrero, Amando Benavidez Jr., and Gabriel Sanchez.  Honorary pallbearers are Sean Benavidez and JJ Lopez, and Cody Benavidez.  Frances' care has been entrusted to
