Frances J. Capone

Frances J. Capone, age 99, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 29, 2019, while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Rio Rancho, NM.  Frances loved her family fiercely and she could be found at the center of every family gathering.  Frances had a fire in her soul and a zest for life. Her laughter was contagious and her smile could light up a room.  She loved to frequently go to the casino, where you find her at her favorite slot machine "Roman Tribune".  Frances was her family's chief cornerstone, who could be depended on in good times and bad times. Anyone who knew her loved and adored her. She was every ones mother and grandmother.  Her legacy will live on  long after her death, because of all the lives she touched in her 99 years lifespan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guiseppe Salmonese and Concetta Colletti; her husband, Joseph Capone, Sr.; sons-in-law, Frank Coccimiglio and Randy D'Amato. Frances is survived by her loving children, Constance Coccimiglio, Lucille DAmato, and Joseph Capone, Jr. and wife Francine all of Rio Rancho, NM; her grandchildren, Deborah LaRosa and husband Joseph, Frank Coccimiglio and wife Maria, Michael D'Amato and wife Lisa, Carmine Capone and wife Annette, Diana Romero and husband Johnny, Joseph Coccimiglio and wife Niomi, Frances Burke, Joseph Capone, III, Terri Capone-Compton and husband Craig; 28 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.  Frances will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitations will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Sara Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd., SE, Rio Rancho, NM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Further Services will take place in New York on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at John Vincent Scalia Funeral Home, 28 Eltingville Blvd., Staten Island NY 10312.  A Graveside Service will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, 361 Sharrot Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10309.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Armada Hospice, 8814 Horizon Blvd., NE, Suite#300, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
