Dampmann, Frances "Fran" E.
our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, was called home to our Heavenly Father. At the age of 77 she passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on March 4, 1937 in Coraoplis, PA to Oliver Othello and Elizabeth Ann (Fielding) King. She was a longtime resident of the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho area where she was an EMT Instructor at TV-I, a Dispatcher and Reserve Officer for the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office, a truck driver, and eventually retired as the Director Security for TV-I. Her purpose and passion in life was to serve others and looked at each new opportunity as an adventure. She was a longtime crafter and proud of her "Lady Bug Creations Company." Her favorite craft shows were at the nursing homes. Fran was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Oliver "Butch" O. King, Jr. She is survived by her children: William H. Kornrumph and wife, Debi, of Rio Rancho, NM, Karen Casalino Scranton and husband, Paul, of Rio Rancho, NM, and Diane "Katie" Lester of Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, William, Timothy, Shianne, Bradley, Kendra, Joshua, David, Jason, Amanda, Stephanie, and Jennifer; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Calvary Chapel - Rio Rancho, 138 Frontage Road NE, Rio Rancho, with Pastor Aaron Force, officiating.
