Frances "Fran" Hernandez

Hernandez, Frances "Fran" T. Age 59, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, was embraced by the Lord, Friday, November 15, 2013. She was born in Torrance , CA and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Fran was the owner and operator of "Fran's Candy Store" in Bernalillo. She loved spending time with her family especially her precious grandchildren; she enjoyed arts and crafts, bead work, bingo, watching old movies like, I Love Lucy and Shirley Temple and going to yard sales. Fran will be fondly remembered by her love for the California ocean and sea shells. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Colunga. Frances is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Mario Hernandez; her sons, Patrick (Crystal) Hernandez and Gabriel Hernandez; nine grandchildren, Damon, Alexis, Gabriel, Jr., Adriana, Jordan, Daija, Elijah, Adrian and Kailey; one great-grandson, baby Edgar; her loving mother, Eliza Colunga of Lakewood, CA; brothers, Harold and Michael Colunga; sister, Linda Garcia; many other relatives, friends and bingo buddies. Fran will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched.
