Frances S. Lopez

LOPEZ- Frances S. Lopez, 74, our loving mother and grandmother was called home to our Heavenly Father on April 18, 2011. Ms. Lopez was born on December 2, 1936 to Max and Carlota (Velarde) Sanchez of Dixon, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Emilio Sanchez, Alfonso Sanchez, Mabel Chavez, and Robert Sanchez. She is survived by her children, Ken Lopez of Atlanta, GA, Terri Wood and her husband, Steve, of Albuquerque, NM and Sharla Engel and her husband, Steve, of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Danna Lopez, Jessica Lopez, Matthew Lopez, Kyle Wood, Zach Wood, Stephanie Engel and Jake Engel; siblings, Alice Martinez, Nora Rodgers, Norena Ortiz, Virginia Griego, Evelyn Lovato; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho with Father Scott Mansfield, celebrant.
