Martinez, Frances  
Age 77, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at her home in Socorro, NM surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Socorro, NM on June 24, 1941, to Ramon and Theodorita Cordova Otero. She was a lifelong resident of Socorro. She was a woman who was strong in her faith. Frances was very kindhearted and always helping her family in any way that they needed her to. She enjoyed cooking and baking and she liked to read. Frances will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pilar Martinez; and her brothers, Max and Frank Otero; and step daughter, Alice Flores.  Frances is survived by daughter, Lucy Baca and husband, Albert; step son, Orlando Martinez and wife, Genevie; grandchildren, Delilah Gonzales and husband, Gabriel; great grandchildren, Michaela, Malorie and Brenden Gonzales; great great granddaughter, Ava Alvarado; and sister, Julia Martinez; step-grandchildren; John Christopher Flores, Patricia Herrera, Theresa, Bernadette and Orlena;  many nieces and nephews who she love dearly.  Services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:30 am at the Potter's House in Socorro.  Interment to follow at San Miguel Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brenden Gonzales, Albert Baca, Gabriel Gonzales, Alvaro Alvarado, Gilbert Otero and Alonzo Trevizo.  To view information or leave a condolence, please visit www.danielsfuneral.com.
