Frances is survived by her adoring daughters Angelina (Gary) Sandberg of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Lourdes (Alfred) Cordova of San Cristobal; son Mario (Rebecca) Rivera of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and daughter-in-law Cindy Arn (Manuel) of Belen, New Mexico. Grandchildren Celina Phelps, Gary Sandberg II, Ruthie Sandberg, Alfred Cordova III (Abby), Mica Torres (Chris), Mario Rivera II (Maddie), Michael, Sarah and Marcos Rivera; and great grandchildren Bella and Audrey Phelps, and Desmond Sandberg.

Throughout her life, she worked hard in any position she had and was always held in high regard. She worked for TG&Y in Santa Fe where she meticulously crafted the outfits displayed on store mannequins. She also worked for Dahl Plumbing and the State of New Mexico.

Known for her unwavering faith and immense love for her family, Frances will be remembered for her exceptional sewing skills, mouthwatering red chile, delicious homemade bread, tortillas, and sopaipillas. She had a passion for fishing and was recognized as a highly competitive fisherwoman who enjoyed numerous fishing adventures with loved ones. Her green thumb was evident in the beautiful flowers she cultivated. Listening and dancing to Spanish music brought her immense joy, a joy that she shared with her family.  Frances found solace in her Catholic faith and was a dedicated member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church choir. Later, her spiritual journey took her to the Church of the Incarnation where she met many wonderful people.  Her melodious voice echoed through the church walls as she sang praises to God. Prayer and gratitude were integral parts of Frances' daily routine.

Much love and appreciation to her family, friends, Presbyterian Rust oncology doctor and staff, and the Presbyterian hospice team who helped care for her.
