Francis Smith

Smith died June 17, 1952, in Gallup. He was born July 17, 1952, in Fort Defiance. Smith was born into the One Who Walks Around People Clan and born for the Salt Water People Clan. Smith graduated from Many Farms High School in 1971 and attended Tsaile Dine College from 1974-1975. Survivors include her mother, Isabelle S. Dale of Shiprock; brothers, Frank Smith of Aneth, Utah, Tommy Youngbear of Querino Canyon, Ed Smith, of Gallup, Larry Smith of Shiprock; sister, Fannie Begay of Shiprock; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Smith is preceded in death by his father, Tom Kee Smith; sister, Joann Toney. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Houck Chapter House, following services.
