Age 81, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born in Socorro, NM on January 29, 1935, to Andres and Josefita Sedillo Lopez. Francisco graduated from Socorro High School. He enjoyed shopping, walking for exercise and liked to sing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Betty Vigil, Chella Herrera and Amelia Tafoya. Francisco is survived by sisters, Josie Cole and husband Melvin, Gloria Ortega and husband Abel and Helen Lopez, and many nieces and nephews. Rosary to be recited on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10:30 at San Miguel Church, Socorro, NM with Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:00 am. Celebrant Father Chike Ubah. Burial will take place at San Miguel Cemetery, Socorro, NM following service. Pallbearers will be Anthony T. Gonzales Jr., Ronnie Joe Gonzales Jr., Tony Ortega, Johnny Gonzales, Charles Thomas and Johnny Vigil. Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Gonzales, Nicolas Gonzales, Shane Thomas, Terrance Naranjo, David Hulsey and Jacob Padilla. Dinner to follow at the family home.
