Sanchez, Frank Sr.

Age 70, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the arms of God. He was born in Magdalena, NM on January 31, 1948, to Juan and Beatrice Sanchez.

Frank was a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1982, where he worked and retired from the City of Albuquerque.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Sanchez; wife, Cynthia Sanchez; daughter, Cathy Llamas; and great grandson, Nicholas Anaya Jr.

Frank is survived by his father, Juan Sanchez; brother, Michael (Martha) Sanchez; Daughter, Debbie Montoya and fiance Gianni; son Frank (Alicia) Sanchez Jr.; grandchildren, Catherine Sanchez, Victoria Montoya, Gloria Montoya, Miranda Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, Mathew, Melanie, and Mikayla Llamas; great grandchildren, Serenity and David Sanchez.

He served in the Army in the 82nd Airborne right out of high school in 1967. After his service in the Army he went on to work in the mine in Silverbell, Arizona.

Frank worked hard all his life to provide for his family, he was a loving husband, wonderful father and even better grandfather. He was loved by many, had great friends and a big family from New Mexico and California all whom will miss him dearly. Until we can meet again we Love You very much Frank.

A committal service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, 3:00 PM, at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.

The family and anyone else who wants to meet at Daniels Funeral Home on Sara Rd in Rio Rancho, NM. At 1:00 PM to drive up to Santa Fe , to place Frank to rest in his final resting place.
