Francisco “Frank” J. Trujillo went home to his Lord and Savior August 4, 2016. He was met there by his father, Jesus, his beloved mother, Josephine and his grandmother, Angela Payan. Frank was born in Albuquerque on October 10, 1933.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Lucy, of 59 years and his two sons, Steve (wife Lisa), Patrick (wife Dianne), his four grandchildren, Jacob (wife Nicole), Jeremy, Diego, and Marena, and his two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Max. He is also survived by his cherished sister, Calaya (husband Val) De La O.
He was proud to serve his country with the 10th Mountain Division, and he retired after thirty years of dedicated service with the DOD, Defense Nuclear Agency. He was most proud of his eight years as a school crossing guard at McCollum Elementary.
The Trujillo family would like to express their sincere thanks to Diana Sanchez, Rocio Mejia, and Delores Ross for their professionalism and kindness. He will be dearly missed by his family. We look forward to seeing him again, this is not a goodbye just see you later.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. on Friday, August 12, 2016, at 10:00 am. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
