Frank Giannetti

GIANNETTI- Frank Giannetti, 88, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 in Rio Rancho, NM. Survivors include his 3 children, Arthur Giannetti of Yorktown, VA, Frank Paul Giannetti of Tewksbury, MA, Carole Ann Williams of Maricopa, AZ; his 2 grandchildren, Julie Moore of Haverhill, MA and Jimmy Moore of Tempe, AZ; his 3 sisters, Al Macone of Wilmington, MA, Amy Rossetti and Nora Goodman of Rio Rancho, NM and his brother, Arthur Giannetti of Rio Rancho, NM, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Giannetti was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria (Terranova) Giannetti. He was born May 26th, 1923 in Somerville, MA, son of Arthur Giannetti and Maria (Masci) Giannetti. He was a proud Veteran having served in the Navy during WWII as a Seaman, First Class. He worked as an anti-aircraft gunner on the heavy cruiser USS Canberra surviving a torpedo attack during one of many Pacific conflicts. He was a member of the DAV and ELKS Clubs, both in Tewksbury, MA and the ELKS in Hernando, FL. He worked as a Civil Engineer for the Commonwealth of Mass until his retirement when he moved to Hernando, FL in 1986. The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Frank (Chico) Giannetti will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Home of Rio Rancho, NM.
