Frank Pacheco

Frank Pacheco Jr. age 78, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018. He was born in Guadalupita, NM on March 10, 1940, to Frank Sr. and Della Pacheco. 

Frank enlisted in the Navy in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1962 with the rank of E-5. He pursued an education in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development completing his Bachelor's Degree at New Mexico Highlands University and his Master's Degree at Western New Mexico University. Frank was an elementary teacher for Vaughn Municipal Schools from 1976  to his retirement in 1996. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows in Bernalillo, NM and was active in the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Florence Pacheco; loving parents, Frank Sr. and Della Pacheco; sisters, Josie Stratton and Evelyn Sanchez.

Frank is survived by his loving daughter, Raquel Walling and son-in-law Mike Walling; grandson, Anthony Walling; brother, Leonard Pacheco; sisters, Ruby Palomino, Martha Romero, and Elsie Valdez; and several nieces, nephews, and god children. Frank will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched. 

A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
