Talamante, Frank "Kiko"  Jr.
Age 83, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in San Marcial, NM on October 28, 1931, to Frank and Josefa  Fajardo Talamante. Frank served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. After the war, he worked for the GMC dealership in Socorro, NM and then worked for Dynaelectric at White Sands Missile Range before retiring. Frank was a kind and gentle man and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years and as he got older he liked to drive around in his truck and visit friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching sports. Frank especially enjoyed watching his Dallas Cowboys. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Dolores Jaramillo; and his brother, Cruz Talamante.  Frank is survived by his children, Esther Gonzales and husband, Michael, Joe Talamante and wife, Julia, Peter Talamante, Victor Talamante and wife, Denise,  and Chris Talamante and wife, Veronica; his brother, Moises Talamante and wife, Molly; grandchildren, Andrea Rose Jojola and husband, Stephen, Joshua Talamante, Pete Talamante, Aaron Talamante, Alyse Talamante, Chrisann Talamante, Katie Talamante, Melisha Gonzales, and Miguel Vigil; great grandchildren, Mathew, Makennah, Michael and Gabriel.  The Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 10:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with a Communion Service to follow at 10:30 am. Deacon Mike Ybarra officiating.  Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery  with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Miguel Vigil, Joshua Talamante, Pete Talamante, Aaron Talamante, Mathew Jojola and Juan Medina.  Frank's care has been entrusted to
