Freeman, Franklin P.
Age 78, resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. He was born in Refugio, TX, on June 14, 1936, to Emmett and May (Yeargan) Freeman.
Franklin is survived by his wife of 21 years, Aleen (Smith) Freeman; sons, John Freeman, David Freeman; step-sons, Dean Telaroli and Steve Telaroli.
Franklin was a compassionate man and respected by many friends. He graduated with a Nuclear Engineering degree from Texas A&I in Kingsville, TX, where he also played collegiate football. Franklin was employed with Sandia National Laboratories from 1961 to 1999. He was an avid tennis player and involved in the U.S.T.A.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Franklin's honor to Presbyterian Hospice, 8100 Constitution Pl NE, Suite 400, Albuquerque, NM, 87110.
