Gabriel Anthony DeHerrera

DEHERRERA- Gabriel Anthony DeHerrera, 16, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on December 8, 2010. Gabe was born on May 5, 1994 to Kenny Ortiz and Natalie DeHerrera. He was a Junior at Cibola High School, member of ROTC, and enjoyed the History class. Gabe enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, hunting and skateboarding. He will be remembered as a quiet, thoughtful, and easy-going young man. He will forever be loved and missed by all who were fortunate to have known him. Gabe is preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Joe DeHerrera, Louise Apodaca, Agustina Ortiz and Delfina & Pablo Rodriguez. He is survived by his parents, Kenny Ortiz and Natalie DeHerrera; his sister, Dionnedra Ortiz; grandparents, Anna DeHerrera, Manuel DeHerrera, Linda Ortiz and Larry Ortiz; and great-grandparents, Elizabeth Trujillo and Domingo Ortiz. A Viewing and Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14 at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque. Gabe will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho.
