Galvina June Wilson, 30, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on February 25th 2020. Galvina was born in Ft. Defiance, Arizona on August 14, 1989. She was from the Honáághani’ Clan and born for the TabáÅhá Clan. She was raised in St. Michaels, Arizona until she was 8-years-old and then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Galvina was married to Robert Madrid on July 6, 2019. The love they had for each other was infinite. She was survived by her loving husband and daughter Robert and Cianna Irie Madrid, mother Georgia Begay and stepfather Johnny Begay, father Glen Wilson, brother Galvin Wilson, brother Malcolm A. Slim (Janelle Anderson and son Malcolm Jr.), sisters Stephanie Begay (Edmond Bird, niece Lily Bird and nephew Raiden Bird), Cheyenne Begay, Shawntel Begay, Chelsea Wilson, and Veronica Scott Davis (Rylan Davis, niece Jayleigh Scott and nephews Jayden and Jayshawn Scott), Uncle Harrison Begay (Della Charley), mother-in-law Melissa Madrid, and sister-in-law Briana Madrid (Gabe Garcia, nephews Dominic Romero and Gabriel Garcia). She is preceded in death by great grandmother Mary C. Begay and grandfather George Watchman whom she loved and cherished very much.
Galvina had many accomplishments. She was the Crown Princess at 6-years-old and would travel to parades, fairs and other events. She was so happy to be Crown Princess and loved to travel and meet new people. Galvina also ran track for Rio Grande High School where she later graduated in 2007. In her adult life she worked many jobs, but none of them meant as much to her as her job as a caregiver. She was a caregiver at Brookdale Senior Living for many years and loved all of her residents as they did her. She had a big heart and was always so caring when it came to taking care of others. She truly enjoyed her job and was the person you would want to have caring for your loved ones. In her free time, Galvina loved going to concerts, camping, fishing, spending time with her family, and lettering. The only thing she loved more than any of that was being a mom. She loved her daughter Cianna more than anything in the world and always bragged about how she was so happy to be her mama.
