Gary Lynn Dean

Gary L. Dean, age 72, passed away September 27, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born July 24, 1952, to his parents Earl and Norma Dean in Lubbock, TX.

Gary served the United States Airforce for 8 years of his life. He served his country with honor.

After returning from the Air Force, he settled into Colorado State University and graduated with his bachelor’s degree and married Judy Zima.

He is survived by his daughter, Megon Dean; his brother, Steven Dean; and his son-in-law, Turner Nail.

He was employed for 40 years with the government such as the forest service and bureau of reclamation until he finally retired.

He loved his Gardening, practicing yoga, golf, and going fishing. He was also a coach for the special Olympics and played with the Niners golf Club in his spare time.

He will be missed immensely by family and friends!
