Gary P. Velarde

VELARDE- Gary P. Velarde, 54, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went home to with our Lord and Savior Saturday, December 11, 2010. Gary was born on February 12, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM. Gary enjoyed fishing, camping and working on cars. He, like his father was a jokester; bringing smiles and laughter to everyone he met. Gary is survived by his loving children Gary Campos, Patricia Campos, and Antoinette Campos; eight grandchildren; eight sisters; one brother; and numerous other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Paul and Mary Velarde; and brother Harold Velarde. Gary will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated today at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE at 10:00 a.m.; Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers are Tommy Velarde, Mohammad Zawahri, Abdul Zawahri, Jason Velarde, Arthur Campos and Eugene Enriquez. Gary';s care has been entrusted to: Garcia Mortuary
