Gasper Romero

ROMERO - Gasper Romero, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2011, while surrounded by his loving family. He was a life long resident of Bernalillo, NM. Gasper worked as a professional painter in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salomon and Rosana Romero; son, Fredrick Romero; and his beloved wife of 53 years, Lillie Romero. Gasper is survived by his loving children, Olivia Muniz and husband Victor, Veronica Montoya, Eleanor Romero, Cathy Romero, Lucy Romero and Gabriel Romero and fiancée Gena; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and his sidekick, Bushy. A Rosary will be recited Friday, June 24, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.
