Gene Pennington passed away April 2, 2017 at his Group Home operated by Advantage Community. Gene was born May 22, 1940 in Kentucky. He moved to Albuquerque, NM with his mother and at the age of 18 he became a resident of the Group Home Systems for developed mentally disabled. He was active in the Community and at Share You’re Care until recently when his chronic lung disease progressed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth and his guardian, Sharon. A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Special thanks to Presbyterian Hospice, especially Dawn. I’d like to thank all the care givers that have attended to Gene through all the years. Gene received responsible care with lots of T.L.C. He will be missed and always remembered, especially “RIGHT NOW!”
