Genevia Irene Speis

SPEIS- Genevia Irene Speis, nee Chadwell went to be with her Lord on June 4, 2011. Born in Catoosa, Oklahoma, July 5, 1919. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Earl W. Speis, her sister Ruby Nelson and her granddaughter Brenda A. Speis. She is survived by her sister Lucille Paoletti, her children in Albuquerque; Gerald Speis, Quintella Speis, Kathleen Blanchfield and husband Craig, Gregory Speis, Keith Speis and wife Carlotta, Rebecca Rice and husband Tom, Steve Speis, and Earl Speis Jr. and wife Sally of St. Louis, MO, along with 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Genevia was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Rio Rancho, NM. Her love of the Lord, her family, hobbies of cooking and fishing were the joys in her life. Her wisdom and strength will be greatly missed. The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM at St Thomas Aquinas Parish in Rio Rancho, NM on Friday, June 10,2011.
