TAFOYA, Genevieve "Veva", 66, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. A long time resident of Albuquerque, Genevieve was born November 28, 1943 in Gallup, NM and is preceded in death by her parents Claudio and Arelia Padilla, husband Steven R. Tafoya, her son Tommy Martinez, Jr., brother, Joey Trujillo, and special nephew Douglas Flores. She is survived by her children; David Martinez of AZ, Andrew Martinez of Albuquerque, Valerie Garcia (Randy) of Edgewood, Danny Martinez of Albuquerque, Gina Zamora of Albuquerque, Monique Marquez (Armando) of Albuquerque, Rudy Tafoya of Albuquerque, daughter-in-law, Gina Ramirez, 15 Grandchildren; Genevieve, Margaret, Angela, Andrew, Kristina, Stephanie, Adriana, David, Giovanna, Jorjette, Jenevah, Flo, Jr., Demetrius, Jason, Nicodemus, 9 Great-Grandchildren, her siblings, Mary "Tomi" Perales, Johnny Padilla, Martin Padilla, Super Padilla, a brother and sister-in-law, Judy and Jim Ostile, she will also be greatly missed by many nephews, nieces and friends.
