George Howard Adams

ADAMS-Retired Army Lt. Colonel George Howard Adams, 83, of Albuquerque, died at 12:50 p.m., Sunday February 6, 2011. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK. George is survived by his wife, Jacqueline R Dunn; daughters Suzanne Huckel, of Charlotte NC, Shannon Adams, of Dayton Ohio; son, John Adams of Novato, CA; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” and Emma (Burch) Adams; brother, John Samuel Adams. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Daniels Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. A private committal with honors will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Presbyterian Hospice of Albuquerque.
