George F (Jeff) Condrey

Jeff Condrey, 63, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. 

Jeff was born in Ganado, AZ in 1955 and raised in Gallup, NM.  He married his high school sweetheart Ramona Barlow in 1974. The couple had three sons.

Jeff loved airplanes and obtained a private pilot’s license before he graduated from high school. He graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1976 with a degree in Aviation Management. Jeff’s career took the couple around the country before they moved back to New Mexico in 1985 to raise their children close to family.  He retired in 2017 after a long career in airport and local government management.

Jeff is survived by Ramona, his sons Brandon (Erika), Collin (Christy), Sheldon (Dana) and his grandchildren Lydia, Emmitt and Paxton. He is also survived by his mother Marilou Condrey, siblings Audrene (Bill) Cox, Jonnie Sue (Teddy) Orr, Ivy Jo (John) Kauth, Michael (Linn) Condrey and numerous extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his father George M. Condrey.

A memorial service will be held on July 31st at 11:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Home, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd., in Rio Rancho, NM.  A reception will be held immediately following the service.
