George Andrew Tapia

George A. Tapia Loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Friday, March 29, 2013 at the age of 61. He was born in Albuquerque, to Jose and Joann Tapia. George adored his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed listening to Spanish music, taking care of his plants and admired hot wheel classics. He is preceded in death by his father Jose Tapia; step father Donald Vigil, Sr.; brother Felix Vigil; brother in law Ray Pohl. George is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Mary Lou Tapia; mother Joann Vigil; daughter Jessica Tapia and fianc� David Mendoza; brothers Larry Tapia, Jesse Vigil, Harry Vigil and Donald Vigil, Jr.; sister Shirley Pohl; granddaughter Reyna Mendoza and numerous relatives and friends. George will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary~Chapel of Angels, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish 1860 Griegos Rd NW; Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
