Gerald Maurice Gallant

GALLANT - Gerald Maurice Gallant, 77, passed away January 25, 2009. Gerald was born February 12, 1931 in New York City to Emanuel and Lilly Gallant. He completed his bachelor's degree in psychology at City College of New York and completed his doctorate in literature at SUNY Binghamton. He lived in Albuquerque for the past 30 years where he taught English at UNM and CNM and then turned his attention to real estate. He enjoyed collecting coins, playing poker, watching politics and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his ex-wife Eleanor Gallant of Cedar Crest, his son and daughter-in-law, Dion and Kara Gallant of Cedar Crest and his grandchildren, Sophie and Theo. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. In lieu of flowers donations in Gerald memory may be given to a charity of your choice.
