Gila Yaniv

Gila Yaniv, age 79 of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Aug 16, 2023,                                                                             

Gila was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel to Hella and Perez Yaniv (both deceased).  She served two years in the IDF (Israeli Army).  She received her MBA from UNM and worked 28 years at Sandia National Laboratories. Gila spent a great deal of time volunteering in her community and pursuing her passion, traveling all over the world.  She was loved dearly by her family and community.

Gila is survived by daughter, Talli Koppel and her spouse Veronica Ricks; granddaughters Rayna and Elia, all of Portland, Oregon, and brother, Yehuda and his family in Israel.

Graveside services will be held at Fairview Memorial Park, Section: Fellowship of the Desert, 700 Yale Blvd  S.E, Albuquerque. NM 87106, on August 21, 2023 @ 11:30am.                            

Following the internment services at Fairview Cemetery, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at 12:45 pm at Congregation Albert: 3800 Louisiana Blvd. N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87110.
