Age 77, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born in Ontario, CA to Ray and Belen. Gilbert adored his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed reading, all sports and playing golf. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marie; his daughter, Lisa Schneider and husband Jim; granddaughter, Natalie Schneider; step-daughters, Kate Frank and husband Joe, Maureen Metzger, Lesa Wracher and husband Scott, step-son, John Fitzgerald and wife Janine; 13 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Quesada and wife Jessie, Arthur Quesada; sister Rachel Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Napoleon Sanchez and wife Gloria; sister-in-law, Helen Samudio, his favorite four-legged friend, Lillie and numerous other extended family and friends. A Rosary will be recited at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am; Inurnment will take place following Service at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Gilbert��?�s honor to New Mexico Dogs Deserve Better, www.newmexicodogsdeservebetter.org. Gilbert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
