Ginger Lyn (Armenta) Jaquez

August 3, 1967 — June 22, 2009

Ginger Lyn (Armenta) Jaquez, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, died early Monday, June 22, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family. Ginger was born August 3, 1967 in Farmington the daughter of the late Virgil E. Moore and Betty L. (Allen) Emig. She was a very active and faithful Catholic. Inspired by the Divine Mercy devotion, Ginger asked God to allow her to suffer for the conversion of souls. God answered her prayer and sent her many crosses, including the death of loved ones and cancer. Like St. Paul, she rejoiced in her sufferings for the sake of the Church (Colossians 1:24). Ginger was a life long resident of Farmington. She graduated from Farmington High School where she was a Kelly Green. In 2005, she received her Associates Degrees from San Juan College while battling cancer. She married Mark Armenta in 1985. He preceded her in death in 2004. In 2008, Ginger married her best friend and soul mate Samuel Jaquez. Ginger was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Moore, her brother Michael Moore, step father Dennis Durocher and both sets of grandparents. Those left to mourn her passing include: her husband Sam; her son Matthew, his wife Kelly and their children Kelsey and Ginger; her daughter Chelsea and husband Frankie and their daughter Elyse; her mother and step father Betty and Phil Emig; Sam's children Valerie, Heather, Crystal, Julie (JR) and Daniel (Holly) and grandchildren, Dylan, Gabriel and Daniella; as well as several aunts and uncles who adored her.
