Giuseppe "Joe" Messina

Giuseppe “Joe” Messina, 89, died the 24th of April, 2019 at his home in Rio Rancho, NM. He passed peacefully in his sleep. His memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 27 at Charity Baptist Church – 5501 Obregon Road, Rio Rancho.

Joe was born on April 21st, 1930 in Detroit, MI to Antonio and Benedetta Messina. He was employed for 35 years as the Plant Operation Manager at Ford Motors in Detroit. Joe loved golfing, fishing, boating and bowling. He was loved by all that knew him.

Joe was proceeded in death by his first wife, June (Hudon) Messina; his parents, Antonio Messina & Benedetta (Carmarda) Messina; his son, Mark Messina; and his siblings, Mateo Messina, Euchristica Frezza, Antonio Messina and Benideto Messina.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughter, Denise White; granddaughter, Samantha Elgie; and his brother, Vito Messina and his wife Marie.
