74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Magdalena, NM on December 31, 1940 to Jose T. and Elia (Marquez) Baca. Glisson and his wife Rufina resided in California for most of their lives but moved back to Socorro in 2003. He worked as a Machine Operator for Piping Companies all of his life. He was a hard working man and jack of all trades. He could fix anything and was a heck of a mechanic. He was avid Denver Broncos fan and especially enjoyed watching wrestling. He loved to listen and dance to the old 50's music. Glisson was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Above everything in life, his family was always most important and he loved them all without end. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Charlie; Eloy; and Alex; and his sister, Sydia. Glisson is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rufina (Silva) Baca; his devoted sons, Lenny; Sammy and wife, Julie; Ronny and wife, Melissa; and Kenny and wife, Velia; his brothers, Abe; Florentino; Peter; and Ricky; his sisters, Mary; Anita; and Rosie; and many other loving family members and close friends. Grandpa Glisson will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro followed by the Mass of Resurrection which will be celebrated at 9:00 am with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Inurnment will take place in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are his grandsons, Samuel Baca, Peter Baca, Paul Baca, Ronny Baca, Jonathan Baca, Andrew Lujan, Christopher Holguin, Andrew Holguin and Kenny Baca Jr. Honorary pallbearers are his granddaughters, Elizabeth Baca, Denise Baca, Destiny Montoya, Alexis Lujan, and Alyssa Baca.
