She was born on February 10, 1923 in Spot Bay, Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands to Marcia Venecia McLaughlin Nee Jervis and Ivan McLaughlin. She is survived by one brother, Vernon McLaughlin; and three sisters, Ursula McLaughlin, Ordinell Ingleton and Azalia Dixon. For the past 14 years her niece Sharon Ingleton has been her legal guardian and caregiver. Gloria had many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death (by one month) and her brother, Captain Gerard McLaughlin. Services will be held on March 24, 2015 at 11:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Chapel.
