Gloria A Garcia

Garcia, Gloria A. Age 66, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. She was born on February 18, 1948 to Julian and Mercedes (Atencio) Garcia. Gloria had retired to Albuquerque four years ago and had previously lived in Greeley, CO. Her hobbies included collecting watches, gardening, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving and playful partner of 25 years, Ellena "Kelli" Knowlton, of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Mercedes Garcia, of Greeley, CO; siblings, Tillie Villarreal, Helen Garcia, Della Rizo, Stella Lucero, Margie Garcia, Julio Garcia, and Phillip Garcia; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and other family members who mourn her passing and will continue to celebrate her beautiful life. She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Garcia; sister, Mary Weston; and brother, Robert Garcia. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM.
