Gloria Jean Jaramillo

Jaramillo, Gloria Jean Age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Santa Fe, NM on January 4, 1931, to Robert and Hermina (Garcia) Bowers. She grew up in Albuquerque and attended St. Mary's High School. At age 17 she went to work for the phone company and moved to Socorro, NM where she met her future husband, Tony Jaramillo. They were married on May 21, 1948. Gloria loved to read and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Christopher G. Jaramillo and Alberta M. Rivera; her sister, Betty L. Gonzales; and her daughter-in-law, Teresa Jaramillo. Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Tony Jaramillo; her devoted children, Jonathan Jaramillo, Gary Jaramillo, Tony Jaramillo Jr. and wife, Gloria, Stuart Jaramillo and wife, Monique, Melissa J. Jaramillo and Noah D. Jaramillo; 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a private service was held at the family home.
