Age 94, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on December 31, 1922, to Lawrence and Gertrude Steier. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Sims; parents, three brothers and three sisters. Gloria is survived by daughter, Cathy Cates of Albuquerque, NM. son, Ed Zachow of Euless, Texas. grandaughters, Krystal (Mark); Kara (Carson); Rachel (Justin); grandsons, Adam (Arlette) and Brandon. great grandchildren, Kaylie, Taylor, Natalie, Emily, Brayden, Stella, Carson Roy, and Landon. Gloria was retired from working in the Technology field. She enjoyed Square Dancing and playing the Accordion. Services will be held at, St. Thomas Aquinas, on September 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Inurnment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
