Gregory Brian King

Gregory was born in Gallup, New Mexico, into the Red Bottom People Clan and born for the Black Streak of Forest People Clan. King Graduated from Wingate High School in 2005 and was part of the student council. King received a Society of Distinguished High School student award and a National Leadership Merit Award. He was the senior class president, he played football, he was class representative, was in JROTC, had perfect attendence an attended Navajo Technical College for electrical trade. His hobbies included playing in basketball tournaments and enjoyed being with family and friends and listening to music, watching sports and cooking. Survivors include his son, Mathias B. King of Albuquerque; daughter, Taneah R. King of Albuquerque; mother, Lisa M. Kind of Gallup; brothers, Lance, Marcus of Gallup; sister, Olivia of Gallup; grandparents, Raymond L. King, Anna Watchman Newby. King was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gardenia C. King, Dennis Watchman Sr. Pallbearers will be Eric Begay, Lyle Begay, Aaron Shorty, Sterling Martinez, Shane Williams, and Roland Yazzie.
