Greyson David Newman

Newman, Greyson David 17, passed away January 2, 2011, in his parent’s Bernalillo home. Greyson was born on October 11, 1993 to Van and Dana Newman here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandy Thompson; and his Aunt Sylvia “DoDo” Kitahara. Greyson is survived by his parents; his brother, Dylan Newman and girlfriend, Sharmain Brito; his maternal grandfather, Bob Thompson of Mountainaire, NM; and his paternal grandparents, Ken & Norma Newman of Albuquerque; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Greyson was a lifelong resident of the Albuquerque area and a current junior at Del Norte High School was a member of the High School Football team as a wide receiver and cornerback. Greyson enjoyed hanging with his friends, snowboarding and occasionally fishing. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Daniels Family Funeral Service, Carlisle Chapel, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Road, NE.
