89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. He was born in Nogal, NM on May 11, 1926 to Grover Claude Sr. and Lucy (Coupland) Wallace. He was a lifelong resident of Magdalena. G.C. proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired at the age of 62, after 40 years of dedicated service at the Grefco Mines and then pursued the ranching Life. He was a hard working man. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. G.C. was an avid Fidel player. He and Evelyn loved to dance and are finally together again, we are certain they are dancing on the streets of gold in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Cleo and Claudine; grandson, Justin Claunch; and his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Sue (Evans) Wallace. G.C is survived by his daughters, Susan Garcia; and Cynthia J Claunch and husband, Arthur; his son, Jesse Steven Wallace and wife, Deborah; and many other loving family members and close friends. G.C will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Wade, Dennis, and Steve Garcia; Jason and Jeremy Wallace; and Christy and Wesley Claunch. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Magdalena Fine Arts Building, 201 Duggins Dr. Magdalena, NM 87825. Interment followed in the Wallace Family Ranch. Pallbearers were Steve Wallace, Arthur Claunch, Jason Wallace, Jeremy Wallace, Wesley Claunch, Dan Gerard, and Sam Gerard.
